Indoor Playgrounds are the Saviors of Orlando Living with Kids

Whew! Does it seem like it gets hotter and hotter each year? Well, it actually does…but let’s not get into that Global Warming argument, at least not yet.

The Z family lives in Orlando, FL surrounded by tons of entertainment and attractions, many of which require a LOT of direct sunlight and little shade. While sun and sand has it’s definite benefits, it can really make it difficult to allow our toddler the chance to burn off energy and not get either heat exhaustion or sun burnt.

Indoor Playgrounds are Amazing!

Little Monsters

Little Monsters in Oviedo is an amazing little indoor playground ran by a wonderful mother of two. You may know it as formerly being Grammy’s Indoor Playground, but changed hands in early 2018.

The toys and activities in offered here are constantly evolving to meet the needs of the parents and children that visit. Recently, they began offering Preschool Prep classes for the mornings of M/W and T/T with a full day of free play on Fridays.

One other awesome offer that you can find at Little Monsters is their weekly Kids Night Out. This runs on Friday evenings from 6-8. Two hours kids free! I got to get a manicure and pedicure stress-free!

My Little Town

Located off of Orange Blossom Trail near 528 is My Little Town. You wouldn’t believe the size of this awesome place until you walk in and see if for yourself. It is literally a tiny Town for your kiddy to explore and play.

You stay very busy following along with your little while they go in and out of over 8 play houses. You can push them along streets and fuel up in upwards of 10 different vehicles. Kids can play dress up or jump into the ballpit. There’s no end to the fun here!

Themed birthday rooms are also already set up and ready to go for your little birthday girl or boy! They were exquisite!!

Amaya Papaya

Activities galore at Amaya Papaya! Finger painting, sensory play, and storytime make for a fantastic day out of the house for your child and yourself.

This location has also started to offer Preschool Prep classes that seen to be very popular.

Information on others as I continue to explore these fantastic options for indoor fun that the hot months of Orlando and Florida in general require.
